We specialize in supplying meals for Older Adults and Emergency situations.

JA Foodservice (a foodservice management company in SW Michigan and N. Indiana) started selling shelf stables in 1993 as an additional line of foodservice packaging to our clients in Michigan. Word spread among the Senior Agencies in Michigan that we would custom design their menu and deliver direct. In a very short time our JA Foodservice warehouse was too small to handle shipping meals by the truckload. Our menu is completely customizable.

As a foodservice contractor we were very aware of the cost and unavailability of individual packages of dry milk. J&R Packaging purchased a milk-packaging machine in 2000. Besides producing milk to include in our meal packages, we also offer individually packaged non-fat dry milk to our clients. Emergency Reaction After the devastation Hurricane Katrina left along the coastlines of the Southern US, J&R Packaging assisted in the distribution of packaged meals to the unfortunate in September of 2005.  We continue to provide a quick response to any emergency where our services are needed.
